Scott and I are so excited to finally share our incredible news.
Of course, when we found out we were shocked but very happy and ready to take on this next big step in our lives.
We’ve been together so long and can’t imagine a future without each other so it only felt right. Also, I firmly believe everything happens for a reason and what’s meant to be will be (cue annoying Bebe Rexha song).
Our families were understandably shocked but for the most part extremely excited to welcome a new family member.
I’m currently in the beginning of my second trimester and still SO TIRED. I never got sick but just extremely nauseous (mainly when I was at work.....go figure). These hormones are crazy and I definitely get mood swings-sorry Scott ❤️
We’ve had all of the precautionary tests done and so far so great! When I was 22 months I had an ASD repair so because of that we have taken some extra tests to make sure me and baby are fine and so far all is well!
Because of all of these tests you can now find out the gender sooner than later and we’re having a...GIRL!
Scott and I REALLY wanted a baby boy but of course all that matters is the health. I got the all but 2 minute phone call from my Drs office to tell me the results of one of the tests and she said “everything is low risk. Do you wanna know the gender? It’s a girl.” I asked “UGH are you sure?” And that was that.
Although most parents have a preference at first we really couldn’t be happier either way. Baby P is expected to be here late January. More to come...
