This year is the first year in a while I am doing Valentines. Ever since Scott and I moved into our new home I have been inspired to have different themes and the holidays make that super easy.
For the longest time Valentines Day was our baby (dog), Blazer's bday and it still is so the day is really split into two occasions-hence the dog cookies.
Sometimes it's nice to get a personalized gift (that you can eat) over really expensive things. It's not all about what he or she gives you but what you did for them on this day that shows how much they mean to you....blah blah you already know that.
I thought having these cookies made was a sweet touch and something somewhat different.
I had these made at Whole Foods, they also have some premade just like this that you can buy, but if you talk to one of the pastry chefs they would be happy to make personalized ones.
On the day I plan on putting them into little clear bags with ties and a card with a handwritten note. All in all it's a fun, easy, and delicious way to celebrate this day.
