Sister salad... point blank the salad my sister lives off of. In all reality she eats this salad probably twice a week, but who can blame her, it's that good.
If you've had a long day at work, or being a mom and chasing your baby around, this is a perfect protein-packed go-to. I especially love it because usually my fridge is already stocked with these ingredients so you don't have to leave your house and go to the god forsaken grocery store for the fifth time that week. (You can tell I hate the grocery story...unless it's Whole Foods, then I'll go everyday).
My sister came up with this recipe on her own one day a couple years ago and swears by it. She's pretty good at coming up with new concoctions in the kitchen...
Salads are a great way to get all of the nutrients you need in a meal and it's a one-bowl job. You can make as little or as much as you want and keep it as clean or as messy as you want...total freedom! There's nothing better than feeling completely full and satisfied from a meal that's just as healthy as it is delicious. When you live a hectic life it can be hard to eat healthy but one way to avoid falling into the fast-food trap is to always have healthy staples in the house so you can make a quick, healthy meal like this one.
